Our week in pictures (May 24-30)

Monday:

Isaac is going through a really cute phase right now. He has us divided up into "teams" by gender. He'll frequently go up to Adam and say, "We're boys!" He's also started telling Adam he can't wait to grow up to be as big as he is. They have a really cute bond, and are the best buddies.

Wednesday:

It was my birthday! We celebrated by going to Home Depot which was pretty much the worst way to celebrate because it guaranteed cranky, out of control kids. After that we went to Five Guys Burger and Fries for a delicious dinner. Then home to celebrate with cinnamon rolls instead of cake.

Thursday:

Madeleine's last day of Kindergarten. I think she's grown four inches this year and has learned so much. She's a reader and can read all the signs as we're driving along, which catches me off guard sometimes. She'll just start asking what something means and I'll have to figure out where she read it!

Friday:

We packed up to head to the cabin for a long weekend. Since we got rid of the Suburban it was a tight fit into the Traverse. We made it there with all of our stuff, somehow.

Saturday:

Wall to wall kids! We laid out sleeping bags for the cousins and turned on a movie. The little kids lasted for a little while, but all the big boys slept the night in the loft.

Sunday:

Grandpa was like the Pied Piper when he turned on NickJr.com and started playing videos and games. He had three little two-footers watching over his shoulder.
