Our week in pictures (March 1-7)

Monday:
For FHE tonight, we had a massive toy clean out. We made piles for D.I., or for storage and trash. We rearranged the furniture in Madeleine's room, so that it's less awkward. The kids were mostly willing to help with the clean out. Except for Isaac who kept discovering cool things in the give away pile.
Tuesday:
Tuesday is the only night of the week Benjamin can ask Adam to play Wii with him. It's easier for us to have one specific day, that way he's not asking every night and then being disappointed that we can't play that night. So pretty much every Tuesday is Wii night. Here, Adam is helping Isaac run the slalom ski on Wii Fit.

Wednesday:
Adam came home from work and spent the rest of the day, and Thursday also, laying on the couch sick. I knew he wouldn't appreciate a picture of him being sick, but I thought this little chair perfectly displayed all the things you need when you're sick: crackers, OJ and your iPhone.

Thursday:
It's Andrew's new favorite toy. The bigger kids like it too, but mostly they like to take it apart and use the legs as weapons, since I got rid of all the swords on Monday night!

Friday:
"Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs" wins again! During this showing, Madeleine tried to follow along in the story book while watching the movie. She wasn't all that successful, since there's not much of a parallel.

Saturday:
We went to the cabin for the weekend with some of our friends. We built a slide ramp down one of the drifts and the kids loved going down it. Adam even got into the action!

Sunday:
Isaac turned THREE!! How did that happen?! He was so excited about his birthday this year. Whenever we asked him what he wanted he said, "A phone to call daddy at work." He was so happy with the presents that he actually got that he didn't notice the lack of a phone. And for days afterwards, he's been telling anyone who will listen all about his birthday party.

Sounds like a busy week! Since when did Isaac get so old? My kids also take apart toys to use them as weapons all the time.
