Monday:
Our trip to the dealership today yielded a key! Isaac is actually obsessed with keys, and locking things, so this was a great treasure for him. He slept with it for a couple of days.
Tuesday:This picture has no real story, just Madeleine was exceptionally cute that day! We had braided her hair the day before after her bath, so it was all curly, and she thought she was fabulous!
Wednesday:
A current trend in boys' hair is the "faux-hawk." Benjamin will have nothing to do with it. But I thought that I'd see what it would look like with Isaac, he has pretty long hair! But, it turns out his hair is too long, and he could have an actual mohawk.

Thursday:Bread day. Thanks to Kim and Pat for the wonderful Bosch, it's a breeze to whip out my six loaves of bread! (There's only five in this picture because the other one had already been consumed--there's nothing like fresh bread right out of the oven!)

Benjamin had a friend over, and it was a semi-nice day, so they all wanted to play outside. I got out the cozy coupe, and Isaac started giving Madeleine "rides." Luckily, he can't go anywhere on the grass with Madeleine sitting on top!
Saturday:
Saturday:Isaac doesn't nap well when the kids are home. He sees the other kids staying awake, and playing and doesn't want to miss out on any of the fun! So he fights taking a nap, even when he really needs one. This bodes well for the summer... So we put on a movie (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, the current favorite around here) and in a while he was sound asleep!
Sunday:
Sunday:Ten minutes before we had to leave for church, Benjamin came running out of his room yelling,"Madeleine broke my bed! She was jumping on it! Madeleine broke my bed!" Madeleine was following Benjamin yelling, "It was an accident! I didn't mean to! It was an accident!" We had to tell her that jumping on the bed was NOT an accident, and in fact, that's why we don't want you jumping on the bed! There were many tears shed as she kept insisting that it was an accident! Luckily Adam is pretty handy, and he was able to extract the bent screw and rig up something to get the bed put back together.

okay, first, I am so jealous that your kids can play with their toys outside, (we STILL have snow) and second, I think Madeleine and Jack were seperated at birth, because we had an IDENTICAL bed situation a few weeks ago. Gotta love the "it was an accident" argument. I don't think kids know what the word "accident" actually means. :)
