It's Jump Rope for Heart time, apparently. And in order to tug on those heartstrings of the kindergarteners, they watched a video during P.E. today all about children who need heart surgery. Madeleine came home and casually mentioned it to me by saying:
"We watched a video about children's heart surgery today. And there's this paper you can sign up if you want your kid to be one. I don't want to."
I don't want you to need heart surgery either.
