The only thing on the agenda for Saturday was to get in some serious snow playing. We don't have any of this stuff at home, so the kids were so excited to play in the snow.
Benjamin pulled out his snow shoes, and trekked all over the place. Adam and I once again commented on how we've always wanted some snow shoes!
Not to be outdone by her big brother, Madeleine HAD to put on the snow shoes and give it her best try. 
Isaac also couldn't resist, but we think that he was more interested in the poles as potential weapons than the actual snow shoes.
Adam hooked up some sleds to the back of the 4-wheeler and the kids had an absolute blast riding up and down the street!
Madeleine spent most of the time running after the sleds, because she was too busy goofing off to hold on!
All the pictures above were taken after Benjamin ran smack into a pole. He and Uncle Mike were having so much fun in a snowball fight that Benjamin wasn't watching where he was going. This picture was taken Sunday afternoon, 24 hours after the incident.
Monday morning, Benjamin looked in the mirror for the first time since it had happened (he's such a boy--Madeleine had a black eye over the summer and she couldn't stop looking in the mirror to see how she looked). Once he saw the damage he said, "Wow. My eye looks bad." All in all, it was a great weekend!
