I live in Idaho. It's a nice place to live. I have friends here, and I absolutely love my life. I am happy in Idaho. But I am from Maryland, and that will always be "home" to me. I know the Idaho state song, but I have the Maryland flag hanging in my garage.
The state flower is the black eyed susan. Four years ago I planted some, with some daisies along the side of my house. The daisies have thrived and done really well. I didn't see any black eyed susans again until this year.
It's my own little homage to "home" and it makes me smile everytime I see them.
