Monday:
Benjamin spends a lot of his time drawing. He draws characters that are mythical, and that usually have "evolutions." Meaning they start as one thing, and through the course of the paper change into something else. He averages one page of characters a day. It's interesting to look at.
Tuesday:
For Halloween, Grandma Hansen gave all the kids a $5 gift card to McDonald's. We've saved them till now and decided a day during Christmas vacation was a great time to use them. The kids were super excited to each order their own food and pay for it themselves. It was a fun activity.
Wednesday:
Poor Andrew has an ingrown toenail! So we set up a little spa for him and he soaks his foot every day. He thinks it's very fun, but I have to sit right next to him or else lots of other body parts get soaked also. The last time we did it, he got mad at me because I wouldn't leave him. He kept saying, "Go away!" and trying to push me away so he could put his hands and other foot in the water.
Thursday:
Adam was doing the last bit of finishing work on our bathroom remodel and Isaac, who does everything he sees Adam do, picked up the hammer and started hammering nails into a board.
Friday:
Grandma Hansen set up the gingerbread making sweatshop in her kitchen! All the kids got a mini house to decorate.
